Nuts about squares CAL
Deze leuke CAL is samengesteld door Esther Dijkstra, bekend van It's all in a Nutshell. De maakster van al die mooie filmpjes die de meeste CAL's ondersteunen.
De CAL is te volgen via de "Official CCC Social Group" Facebookgroep. Deze groep heeft ook de CAL van Sophie's Universe gehost en kent ruim 50.000 leden.
Natuurlijk staat het patroon ook op de website van It's all in a Nutshell. Zowel in het Engels als in het Nederlands.
Tijdens deze CAL zal er een deken gehaakt worden van 35 prachtige vierkanten, ontworpen door 11 getalenteerde ontwerpers. De meeste van hen zult u vast wel kennen. De ontwerpers die meegewerkt hebben aan dit project zijn Dedri Uys, Helen Shrimpton, Polly Plum, Sigrun Hugoey, Melissa Green, Heather Gibbs, Julie Yeager, Margaret MacInnis, Susan Stevens, Aurora Suominen en Tatsiana Kupryianchyk.
Er zijn voor deze CAL 7 verschillende pakketten samengesteld:
* Nuts about the Earth kit met Stone Washed (deken wordt ca. 115 x 160 cm)
* Nuts about the Earth kit met Colour Crafter (deken wordt ca. 130 x 180 cm)
* Nuts about the Earth kit met Cotton 8 (deken wordt ca. 100 x 140 cm)
* Nuts about the Sea kit met Colour Crafter (deken wordt ca. 130 x 180 cm)
* Nuts about the Sea kit met Cotton 8 (deken wordt ca. 100 x 140 cm(
* Nuts about the Sky kit met Sunkissed / Cotton 8 (deken wordt ca. 100 x 140 cm)
* Nuts about the Sky kit met Colour Crafter (deken wordt ca. 130 x 180 cm)
De Colour Crafter kit bestaat uit groen en blauw tinten en heet "Nuts about the Sea", de Sunkissed kit bestaat uit contrasterende en donkere kleuren en heeft "Nuts about the Sky". De laatste kit is van Stone Washed en heet "Nuts about the Earth". Deze bestaat uit aardse tinten.

Each week there will be English video tutorials to show you how to make the squares for that week as well as links to the original written patterns in English and Dutch.
What are we making?
We are making a blanket with 35 lovely squares designed by 11 talented crochet designers. Some of
them are well known and admired for their fabulous designs, others are perhaps less known but I am
sure you will love their designs also. Contributing designers are Dedri Uys, Helen Shrimpton, Polly
Plum, Sigrun Hugoey, Melissa Green, Heather Gibbs, Julie Yeager, Margaret MacInnis, Susan
Stevens, Aurora Suominen, and Tatsiana Kupryianchyk. Each square has been carefully selected to
ensure that the squares work together well in their look and feel. Most of the squares are textured and
have an artistic look about them.
The CAL can be followed through the "Official CCC Social Group" Facebookgroup. This group also hosted the Sophie's Universe and has over 50.000 members.
The pattern is also available on the website of It's all in a Nutshell. It will be available in English and Dutch. Every week there will be English video tutorials as well.
There are three colorways available for this CAL, one in Scheepjes Color Crafter, one in Scheepjes
Sunkissed and one in Scheepjes Stone Washed. Each colorway contains 6 colors and has its own
look around the central theme “Earth, Sea and Sky”.

* Nuts about the Sky kit – Scheepjes Sunkissed / Cotton 8 (approx 100 cm x 140 cm)
* Nuts about the Sky kit - Scheepjes Colour Crafter (approx 130 cm x 180 cm)
The Color Crafter kit contains blue and green colors and is called “Nuts about the Sea”, the Sunkissed
kit contains contrasting and deep colors and is called “Nuts about the Sky”, and the Stone Washed kit
contains earthy colors and is called “Nuts about the Earth”.

Nog maar net begonnen met deze mooie CAL, super enthousiast.
Ik ben er nog niet an begonnen. Het lijkt me een hele uitdaging - dat is ook een reden waarom ik dit wil gaan doen.
Volgende week begin ik - ik ben benieuwd!
